Mary Jane Kelley Hester, 51, of Easley, wife of the late Mark Timothy Hester, passed away Monday, February 14, 2011 at the home of her daughter.
Born April 23, 1959 in Pickens County, she was a daughter of David Edrew Kelley and Frances JoAnn Richard.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her beautiful daughter,Tracy Jackson (Tony Young); her "world" granddaughter, Jackie Jackson, and other grandchildren, Amber, Devin, Natalie, and Brycen; step son, Josh and Amanda Hester and their son Matthew, step daughter, Alisha and Timmy Thetford and their son, Brandon, two young men thought of as sons, Travis Townsend, and Jason Teague; nephews, Greg and Joey Townsend; nieces, Jessica Townsend and MJ Kelley; brothers, Danny Kelley, and Ronnie Kelley (Ann);
sister, Peggy Townsend (Billy Jack).
She was predeceased by her husband, Mark T. Hester in 2009; a brother, Earl Kelley; and grandmother Frances Moore.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 17, 2011 at the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at 12:30-2:00 PM Thursday prior to the funeral at the funeral home.
Pallbearsers will be, Travis Townsend, Jason Teague, Devin Jackson, Barry Little (best friend to mom and dad), Billy Cassell, and Thomas Allen
The family would like to thank Donna and Joe Cassell and their children; Barbara and Mike Johnson and their precious daughter, Sherry Crowe; and the Johnson family for the love and support shown to them.
The family will be at the home of her daughter, 104 Mary Jane Dr., Easley, SC 29642.
Mom, you will be missed dearly by us all, but we are glad to know you have gone home to be with my wonderful dad in heaven. We love you both.
