Mrs. Mary Margaret Toomey Hoffman, 93, wife of the late John Hoffman, passed away Friday, May 29, 2015 at her home.
Born in Canton, NY, a daughter of the late Bernard and Rose Endersbee Toomey, Mrs. Hoffman received her associate degree from the State University of New York at Canton and was of the Catholic faith. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are two sons, John B. Hoffman of Greenville, and Ed Hoffman of Columbia; two daughters, Mary Rose Callahan (Bobby) of NJ, and Jane Pingley of Greenville; a brother, Bud Toomey of NY; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Hoffman was predeceased by a son, Robert Hoffman; a brother, Mike Toomey; a sister, Pat Petraske; and a daughter-in-law, Jeanna Hoffman.
Funeral services will be noon Monday, June 1, 2015 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC 29642.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM until 11:45 AM Monday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to the Greenville Humane Society, 305 Airport Road, Greenville, SC 29607.
