Mary Glisson Jones, 79, of 308 Powder Mill Road and wife of William Gerald Jones died Friday, April 13, 2012 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Atlanta, GA she was a daughter of the late Frederick Leslie and Thelma Timmermann Glisson. She was a former nursing recruiter at Crawford Long Hospital in Atlanta, GA and was of the Baha'i faith.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons: John R. Arnold III of Palm City, FL and Barton Cox Shepherd of Athens, GA; and three grandchildren, Marcella Arnold, John Arnold IV and Luke Cason Shepherd. She was a friend of Bill.
A memorial service was held in Clemson, SC.
Graveside services will be held at 2 PM, Monday at Magnolia Cemetery in Andalusia, Alabama.
