Mary Shiflet Jones, 57, of 150 Burdette Circle and wife of Gordon T. Jones, died Sunday, July 18, 2010 at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.
Born in Anderson, she was a daughter of Frances Holbrooks Shiflet of Anderson and the late William Pickney Shiflet. She was a graduate of McDuffie High School, an employee with Michelin and a member of Faith Fellowship Baptist Church of Pendleton.
Surviving in addition to her husband, are two daughters, Mandy Crane of Pendleton and Callie Urban of Anderson; step-son, Jacob Jones of Calhoun, GA; step-daughter, Christy Hyde of Anderson; two brothers, Mike Shiflet and Steve Shiflet both of Anderson; sister, Karen Jewell of Anderson; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1 PM, Wednesday at Faith Fellowship Baptist Church with Rev. Brett Aiken officiating. Entombment will follow in Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM, Tuesday at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central.
The family is at the home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Cancer Association of Anderson, 215 East Calhoun Street, Anderson, SC 29621 or to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
