Mary M. Laib

Mary Emily Moxley Laib, 81, formerly of Clemson, died Sunday, June 8, 2008 at Ashton Woods Rehabilitation Center in Atlanta, GA.
Born in Nashville, TN, she was the daughter of the late Maurice Martin and Eura Emily Hargroeder Moxley. She was a graduate of Indiana University and obtained her Masters Degree from Goddard College in Vermont. Mrs. Laib was a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Clemson where she formerly served as the Christian Education Coordinator and was a member of The Daughters of the King.
Surviving are two sons, George Stephen Laib of Tampa, FL, Roger Laib and his wife Maritza of Pittsburgh, PA; a daughter, Laura Emily Parsons and husband Dennis of Atlanta, GA; and two grandchildren, Ryan and Camille Laib. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, the Reverend George Henry Laib.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Tuesday at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church with Reverend John Nieman officiating.
Visitation will be prior to the service from 2:00 until 2:45 PM at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made to the Memorial Fund of Holy Trinity Episcopal Parish; 193 Old Greenville Highway; Clemson, SC 29631.
