Mary Anne McAlister

Mary Anne Griffith Woods McAlister 65, widow of James Larry McAlister died Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at her residence.
Born in Anderson, she was a daughter of the late Dudley and Mary Evatt Griffith. Mary has worked as a housekeeper for many of the local hotels and she was a member of Trinity Wesleyan Church. Mary was an avid Clemson Tiger fan and loved NASCAR.
Surviving are sons, Freddie Ray Woods of Walhalla, Stacey Christopher Woods of Easley and Brad Woods of Central; daughter Sherry Lynn Davis (Johnny Lee) of Belton; sisters, Judy Carol Thompson of Clemson and Sandi Griffith of Central; 10 grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Don Griffith.
Funeral services will be 2 PM, Tuesday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Wiggins officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
