Mary Gray Pardi Motte, 75, wife of the late Melvin C. Motte, passed away April 2, 2013 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Greenville, to the late William and Laura Gillespie Gray, Mrs. Motte was a homemaker who loved fishing, camping, and dancing.

Surviving are a daughter, Julie P. Brock of Pelzer; a son Terry Pardi and his wife Mary of Pickens; a sister, Brenda Gray; four grandchildren, Marc Pardi, Michael Pardi, Danielle Pardi, and Janna Thomas; and six great-grandchildren, Breanna Pardi, Dylan Pardi, Cayden Pardi, Zack Risher, Kaleb Springer, and Addie Thomas.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her first husband, Dominick "Danny" Pardi; a son-in-law, L. Duane Brock; two brothers, John W. Gray and Hoyt Gray; and five sisters, Judy Carrick, Willy Mae Anthony, Mildred Roper, Edna Edens, and Sarah Gray.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening at 104 Winfield Drive, Pickens, SC 29671.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 West Faris Street, Greenville, SC 29605.

The family is at their respective residences.
