Mary Ann Normanly of Clemson, 92, wife of the late Richard L. Normanly, entered eternal rest Thursday, December 2, 2021, at Easley Place. She died peacefully in her sleep and was called home to be with Jesus.
Mrs. Normanly had a long, fulfilling career into her 70's as a home health aide for DHEC. She was a member of Pendleton United Methodist Church.
Surviving her are a brother Peter O'Scier of Buffalo, New York; children Dorothy Ann Ellis of Seneca, Robert David Rubritz of Charleston, and Deborah Jean Wendt of Clemson; 9 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Nicolena O'Scier; siblings Frank, Daniel, and Eleanor; and great-grandchild Margaret Kathryn Wendt.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at Pendleton United Methodist Church on Sunday, January 9th, 2022 at 2 p.m.
The family welcomes donations to Safeharborsc.org and Helping Hands of Clemson as an expression of sympathy in lieu of flowers.
