Mary Lorene Duncan Parker, 80, of Bagwell Street, wife of the late William S. Parker, passed away Thursday, November 5, 2015 at her home.

Born in Pickens County, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Maggie Lee Smith Duncan.

Mrs. Parker was retired from Mayfair Mills, Glenwood Plant. She owned and operated Mary's Beauty Shop for several years and was a member of Jones Avenue Baptist Church.

Surviving are her children, Gail Smith of Easley and Michael Whitmire (Cathy) of Cedar Town, GA; six grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild; sisters, Elizabeth Center and Gladys Gilstrap both of Easley and Ruby Breazeale of Pickens; and brothers, Alex Duncan of Sunset, Donald Duncan and Wayne Duncan both of Easley and Ronald Duncan of Pickens.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a son-in-law, Jim Smith and a sister, Judy Sentell.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 9, 2015 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with burial to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Pickens.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 PM until 2:45 PM at the funeral home.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Gentiva Hospice, 15 Brendan Way, Suite 100 Greenville, SC 29615.

The family will be at the home.
