Mary Crenshaw Pearson, 85, of 712 Crenshaw Street and widow of Warren D. Pearson, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, February 7, 2007.

She was born in Pendleton, a daughter of the late Martin and Eva Newton Crenshaw. She was a former school teacher, homemaker and partner in the family business. She was a member of Pendleton United Methodist Church where she served in various positions and was a member of the Pendleton Garden Club. She also was a founding member of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood Club.

Surviving are two sons, Joe Pearson of Pendleton and Pastor Steve Pearson and his wife, Sue of Lexington, Kentucky; grandsons, Josh and Adam Pearson. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by three brothers, Warren, James and Leard Crenshaw.

Funeral services will be 3 PM, Sunday at Pendleton United Methodist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

The body is at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central-Clemson Commons where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Saturday, and will be placed in the church at 2 PM Sunday prior to the service.
