Mary Pelt Richey, 70, of 130 Boggs Road, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2010, at her home.
Born in Alabama, a Daughter of the late James Daniel and Artie Nix Pelt, Mrs. Richey was a retired Plant and Nursery operator and of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are her husband, Dennis Ray Richey, of the home; one son, William Earnest Kay of Central; three daughters, Janie Kay Crowe (Donnie), and Jeanne Kay Marchbanks (Homer) all of Six Mile, and Pamela Kay Maw (Christopher) of Stafford VA; three grandchildren, Douglas, Kenneth, and Kristen Maw. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Richey was predeceased by four brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with the Reverends Bobby Marchbanks and Jimmy Anthony officiating.. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
The family is at the home of her daughter, Janie Crowe, 165 Powder Mill Road, Central, SC 29630.
