Mary Ruth Smith Roberts, 65, formerly of Central, died Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Redeemer Health and Rehab.
Born in Anderson, she was a daughter of the late Jesse James and Jessie Mae Pinion Smith. Mrs. Roberts was a former employee with Holiday Inn in Clemson and a member of Outreach Mission in Pendleton.
Surviving are two daughters, Diane Lollis Robinson of Liberty, and Sandie Lollis Fincannon of Liberty; two brothers, Tommy Joe Smith of Liberty, and Samuel Paul Smith of Seneca; two sisters, Joann Merck of Six Mile and Bonnie Turner of Lula, GA; 3 grandchildren, Kayla Lollis, Jessie Smith and Lindsay Smith.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by two brothers, Bud Alton Smith and Jessie Joseph Smith and one sister, Jeanette Leslie, daughter, Vicky Lyn Shaver and grandson Christopher Shaver
Funeral services will be Monday at 3pm in the chapel of Duckett-Robnson Funeral Home with burial to follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1:30 to 3pm, at the funeral home Monday prior to the service.
The family is at the home of Kayla Browning, 224 Branchwood Drive, Liberty.
