Mary Etta Lesley Marchbanks Sanders, 88, formerly of Easley, died Saturday December 27, 2008 at Laurel Hill Living Center.
Mrs. Sanders was born in Easley, a daughter of the late William Harrison and Effie Smith Lesley. She was a homemaker and a member of Carmel Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are three sons, Tony Marchbanks (Joan, of Six Mile, Johnny Boyd and Alan Marchbanks (Mary Ann), all of Easley ; two daughters, Elaine Dameron (Larry), of Pendleton and Kathy Marchbanks, of Easley ; a brother, Reverend Franklin Lesley (Evelyn), of Pickens ; a sister, Patsy Simmons, of Easley ; 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, William Ralph Marchbanks and Robert Sanders and a daughter, Joyce Marchbanks Ross.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday at Carmel Presbyterian Church with the Reverend Dr. John LeHeup officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Family members are at their respective homes and will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 7:30 pm Monday at Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown.
