Mary Catherine Hoffman Shaw, 93, of 103 North C Street, and widow of Egon Shaw, died Sunday, October 15, 2006, at her home.
Born in Portage, PA, a daughter of the late John and Mary Petzae Hoffman, and was of the Episcopal faith.
Surviving are three daughters, Diane Heinz of New Jersey, Joan Ballenger of Florida and Lisa Bader of the home; grandchildren, Deborah, Joannie, Marge, Vickie, Robert, Aaron, Rachel, Alexis, Leland and John; great-grandchildren, Sheridee, Tiffany, Lee, Catherine, Dana, Melanie, Leah, William, Matthew, David, Christina and Jamie; two great-great-grandchildren, Jacob and Carly. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by: three brothers, John Hoffman, Brother Joe Hoffman and Francis Hoffman; two sisters, Helen and Rose; and one great-grandson, James.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, November 3, 2006 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
