Mary Catherine Sheriff, 75, of 129 Elbert Adams Road and wife of Rev. Alan Sheriff, died Friday, June 15, 2007 at her residence following a brief illness.
Born in Easley, SC, a daughter of the late Clifton Walker and Lela Leopard James, she was a retired clerical worker, homemaker and a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church and the Encouragers Bible Class.
Surviving in addition to her husband are; two sons, William Alan (Patsy) Sheriff of Flowery Branch, GA and Timothy Ray (Sheryl) Sheriff of Anderson; three daughters, Victoria Susan (Michael) Graham of Seneca, Kimberly Renea (Glen) Henderson of Huntington, WVA and Anna Lois (Jeff) Beverly of Islamorada, FL; a sister, Betty Rainey of Easley; 12 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Carl James.
Funeral services will be 3:30 PM, Sunday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, Easley with burial following in Oconee Memorial Park, Seneca.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM, Saturday at the funeral home.
The family is at the home in Seneca.
