Mary Alexander Pridmore Wardlaw, 101, passed away Monday, November 8, 2021.

She was born November 13, 1919, in Pickens County, the daughter of the late Clifton and Katie Dodd Alexander. Mary was the oldest member of Rock Springs Baptist Church, she enjoyed ceramics, crocheting, and gardening. But most of all she enjoyed being a Christian example to the family.

Surviving are her grandchildren, Tony (Vanda) Jennings, Boyce (Robin) Jennings, Keith (Kimberly) Jennings and LeAnne (Mark) Poole; great-grandchildren, David (Audrey), Brittney (Chris), Ashley, Danielle, Win (Shelby), Alex, Ella, Kristin (Justin), Audrey, and Vincent; great-great-grandchildren, Shanda, Taylon, Zaylee, Annastin, Brystin, Paisley, Brayden, Dylan, and Ava-Jane.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Troy Pridmore; daughter Gail Jennings (LJ); grandson Kevin Jennings; brothers Cliff, Leonard, and Henry Alexander; Sisters Martha Clardy, Tillie Rhodes, Ida Ragsdale, Ruby Alexander, and Frances Anderson.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 11, 2021, from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM at Rock Springs Baptist Church, with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM in the church sanctuary. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

The family will be in their respective homes.
