Mary Elizabeth White, 84, of Atlanta died Sunday, October 7, 2012 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, GA.
Born in Lavonia, GA, a daughter of Dewey C. and Julia Davis White. She was reared in the Westminster/Oakway Community and graduated from Georgia State University. She had a career with Bell South as a manager in the Executive Dept. and Major Accounts Marketing.
She is survived by one brother, Dewey C. White of Winder, GA; two sisters, Joan Carolyn Holbrooks of Liberty, SC and Hilda W. Darlington of Pendleton, SC; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by C. Davis White of Colbert, GA and Alton L. White of Atlanta, GA.
Private graveside services will be held in Beaverdam Baptist Church in Fairplay, SC.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 250 Williams Street, Atlanta, GA 30303.
