Mary Jo Wilson, 92, of Norris entered into Heaven's glory on September 26, 2014. Born in Oconee County, SC, she was the widow of James Edgar Wilson. She was predeceased by her parents Carl and Minnie McGuire and a brother Ben McGuire. She was retired from West Point Pepperell in Clemson.

Surviving are her daughter Debbie Whitlock (Ronnie) of Liberty, granddaughters Carla Whitlock of Easley and Aimee McDermott (Michael) of Williamston. Surviving are brothers and sisters: Bob McGuire (Ruth) of Easley, Bill McGuire (Margaret) of Anderson, Tom McGuire (Marion Sieffert) of Clemson, Catherine Clayton of Cullowhee, NC, Jaqueline Bryant of Tucker, GA and Bobbie Ann McGuire of Norris.

A member of Central First Baptist Church, she was a former Sunday School teacher, GA leader and choir member.

The family will receive friends prior to the service at Robinson Funeral Home ? Downtown Easley - from noon until 1:45 pm Monday, September 29, 2014 with funeral services following in the chapel at 2:00 pm with Reverend Jim Spencer officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to Lutheran Hospice of the Upstate for their compassionate care in Mrs. Wilson's final days. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the building fund of Brushy Creek Baptist Church 100 Clay Street Easley, SC 29642.
