Mary Craig Witt

Mary Craig Witt, 96, wife of the late Ralph Henry Witt, of Easley, passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2026.

Born in Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late John Augustus and Carrie Baldwin Craig.

She was a devoted member of Rock Springs Baptist Church and found great joy in the simple things she loved; sewing, baking, and playing bridge with dear friends. She was also a tireless worker, always keeping busy and giving her time and energy generously to the people and things she cared about.

Mary is survived by a daughter, Ada Curry (E. Drake, Jr.) of Marietta; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and her loving husband of 32 years, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Diane Stoddard; her brothers, Harry B. Craig and John A. Craig, Jr.; and her sister, Evelyn Wagner.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 1, 2026 at the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home, Downtown. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Thursday, October 1, 2026 at the funeral home.
