MaryAnn G. Frankovich, 90, passed away surrounded by her family at the Hospice of the Upstate early Saturday morning, January 11, 2020. She was born in Dover, DE on January 2, 1930, the daughter of Hughlett A and Margaret (Straughn) Golt, the first of three children. MaryAnn met Robert (Bob) J. Frankovich in Dover, DE and they were married on January 21, 1950. She travelled with Bob and their children while Bob served in the US Air Force. They travelled around the United States, and to France and Canada. Bob and MaryAnn returned to Central, SC while building a house in Six Mile. They have lived in Six Mile since 1992. MaryAnn's hobbies were knitting and crocheting. She helped Bob with the AAF/USAF Crash Rescue Association.
MaryAnn is survived by one daughter Ann (David Vaughn) of Central, SC; three sons, Robert of Summerville, SC, Joseph of Newnan, GA, and Daniel of Piedmont, SC; six grandchildren, Michelle Bates, Keri Cantrell, Mallary Vaughn, Devan Vaughn, Layna Frankovich, and Lydia Frankovich; two great grandchild Caleb Cantrell and Ezra Bartholomew Frye; and one brother Thomas Golt. She was predeceased by her parents, 1 sibling Richard, and her beloved husband Bob.
A family celebration of MaryAnn's life will be 2:00 PM Sunday, January 19 at MaryAnn's Home in Six Mile, SC.
