Mattie Lewis "Mick" Duncan, 95, widow to the late Willard Brewer, of South B Street, passed away Thursday, November 13, 2014 at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.

Mrs. Duncan was born in Lincolnton, GA, on August 14, 1919, to the late Arthur Marion and Mary Clardy Lewis. She was a retired cloth inspector with Alice Manufacturing Company and loved to watch the Rev. Billy Graham and the Rev. Dr. Charles Stanley on television. Mrs. Duncan was an excellent cook and was a member of Flat Rock Baptist Church.

Mrs. Duncan is survived by a daughter, Laverne Schmidt (Ron), of Port St. Lucie, Fla., five grandchildren; Christopher Youngblood (Renee), of CA, Angela Marsh (Terry), of Easley, Joey Youngblood (Tanya), of Easley, Kent Schmidt (Mary), of Plattsburgh, NY, and Patrick Schmidt (Nikki), of Morrisonville, NY. Mrs. Duncan is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Annette Youngblood; three brothers and four sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, November 15, 2014, in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home ? Downtown, with the Rev. Larry J. Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service on Saturday from 1:00 until 2:30 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.

The family is at the home.

The family wishes to extend thanks to Phalba and Bo Jeanes, Nurse Beverly from the Critical Care Unit at Baptist Easley Hospital, and to Joyce Patterson for all their love and help given to the family for Mrs. Duncan.
