Mattie "Pat" Teat, 87, widow of James Teat, died November 25, 2006 at the Brian Center of Brevard, NC. She was a native of Tennessee and was the daughter of the late James and Elizabeth Anthony Parks. She was a member of Trinity Wesleyan Church and did volunteer work at the Helping Hands of Clemson. She retired from the Clemson University canteen.
She is survived by a daughter, Vickie Porter and husband Roy of Central, a sister, Mary Ballard of Burlison, TN and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Andy Teat, 3 sisters and 4 brothers.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 11am at Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the West Wing of Brian Center of Brevard, NC, PO Box 1096, Brevard, NC 28712. The family is at the home, 208 Wesleyan Drive where friends my call/.
