Easley
Maurice Isidore Proulx, 89, of Easley, SC and husband of the late Dorothy Eileen Tackabury Proulx, passed away Thursday January 2, 2014 at Baptist Easley Hospital.
Mr. Proulx was born in Marionville Ontario, Canada, the son of the late Joseph and Anne Marie Demers Proulx. He retired from United Technologies Corporation in Syracuse, New York, attended St. Matthias Luthern Church and was a U.S. Army veteran of W.W. II.
Surviving are his son, David M. Proulx, of Apex, NC; a daughter, Diane Creaton, of Cleveland, SC; two brothers, Charles Proulx, of Bernhardt Bay, NY and Paul Proulx, of Kirkville, NY; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be in Syracuse, New York on Saturday January 11, 2014 with Butler - Badman Funeral Home assisting the family. Burial will follow in Onondaga Valley Cemetery.
