Maurice Sahak Tortian, 46, of 1014 Westbrooke Lane, husband of Terri Lariz Tortian, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2013 at his home.
Born January 27, 1967 in Kuwait, a son of Huda Barakat and the late Sahak Movses Tortian. Mr. Tortian came to America in the 1980's and became a self employed automobile exporter. He was a faithful member of Marathon Community Church where he was involved with the youth ministry. Mr. Tortian was a wonderful loving husband, father, son, brother and family man who spent quality time with his boys. He was always happy, positive and never made an enemy.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of thirteen years, Terri Tortian of the home; two sons, Jonathan Lariz and Isaac Tortian; brothers, Joni Tortian, Robert Tortian, and Henry Tortian who was more like a son than a brother.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Marathon Community Church. Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Saturday at Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road.
