Maybelle Virginia Bagwell Hendricks

Maybelle Virginia Bagwell Hendricks, 82, of Easley, passed away Monday, December 14, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital - Downtown.
Born January 2, 1933 in Pickens County, she was the daughter of Elijah W. and Letha M. Martin Bagwell, and the wife of Ben R. Hendricks for 59 years before his passing March 2015. She was a long time member of Zion United Methodist Church, very active in her church, and loved singing in the choir. Maybelle enjoyed gardening and traveling with her family locally and internationally.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
Maybelle is survived by her brother, Elijah Bagwell and wife, Melba, of Alabama; sisters, Nettie Lou Bagwell of Easley and Betty Cannon of Fayetteville, NC; many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 1:45 PM Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Robinson Funeral Homes – Downtown, 305 W. Main St., Easley, SC 29640, with funeral service at 2:00 PM with Sr. Pastor Matt Turner officiating in the Chapel of the funeral home. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Pickens, SC.
Family has requested donations be made directly to Zion United Methodist Church, 432 Zion Church Road, Easley, SC 29642.
