Mrs. Maybelle Porter Perry, 66, wife of the late James Whitner Perry, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Redeemer Health and Rehab of Pickens.
Born in Anderson County, a daughter of Mildred Crowe Porter of Central, and the late Alvin Richard Porter, Mrs. Perry retired from Playskool Baby and was of the Pentecostal faith.
Surviving, in addition to her mother, are three daughters, Marie Wimpey (Ricky) of Pickens, Tammy Mullins (Allen) of Rock Hill, and Renee Ellis (Steve) of Easley; one son, Brian Perry (Tonya) of Easley; one brother, Robert Porter (Evelyn) of Central; a sister, Bonnie Porter of Central; a brother-in-law, Curtis Bolick of Central; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and father, Mrs. Perry was predeceased by a brother, Virgil Porter, and her twin sister, Estelle Bolick.
Memorial services will be 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2013 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Rev. Brandon Wimpey officiating.
Visitation will be immediatley following the service.
