Megan Elizabeth Mowrey, Esq., Ph.D. died at her home in Pendleton, SC on July 3, 2014 after a protracted illness.
She attended the University of Iowa in Iowa City, where she earned a B.A., J.D., and Ph.D. She taught in the Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa prior to accepting a position at Clemson University in Clemson, SC. As an Associate Professor in the School of Accountancy and Finance at Clemson, Mowrey taught Business Law, Law for Professional Accountants, and International Law from 2000 until her death.
Megan is survived by her mother, Norma Lee Mowrey, of Greenville, SC, and her beloved husband, Dr. Matthew Klare, of Pendleton, SC.
A memorial service will be held in Clemson at a future date.
