Melbree Elrod

Mrs. Melbree Chambers Elrod, 90, wife of the late Butler Reece Elrod, went to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, January 9, 2023.
Born in Gainesville, GA, a daughter of the late Howard Thomas Chambers and the late Blanche Tinsley Chambers, Mrs. Elrod was a graduate of Easley High School and was a retired Teacher Assistant from Concrete Primary School with twenty-five years of service. She was a long time member of Siloam Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years.
Melbree loved to sew, cook and be a homemaker, but her greatest love was for her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Surviving are her three sons, Rick Elrod (Fay) of Montgomery, AL, Randy Elrod (Kathy) of Piedmont, and Danny Elrod (Andrea) of Piedmont; her daughter, Nancy Sudduth (David) of Liberty; a brother, Jimmy Chambers (Juanita) of Easley; a sister, Jerri Clark of Lynchburg, VA; five grandchildren, Noe Sudduth (Heather), Corri LaBrecque (Josh), Jennifer Elrod Williams (Cameron), Jeffrey Elrod (Kyra), and Daniel Elrod; and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Elrod was predeceased by three brothers, five sisters, and a grandson, Brent Elrod.
Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Friday, January 13, 2023 at the Bethesda United Methodist Church Cemetery.
