Melissa Smith Brown, 56, wife of Randy Brown, passed away on Friday, July 14, 2017 at Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.

Mrs. Brown was born in Anderson County and was the daughter of the late Wayne R. Smith and Linda Smith Spearman. She was a sales person for Walmart and Bilo and was a member of Refuge Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband, are two sons, Joshua Randall Brown of Six Mile and Jonathan Maxwell Brown of Belton; two brothers, Tim Smith of Townville, and Brad Smith of Utah; four grandchildren, Victoria Rose Hudson, Michael Dustin Brown, Haley Taylor Brown and Colby Brown.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, July 16, 2017 at Rufuge Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 2:45 PM prior to the service at the church.

Memorials may be made to, Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
