Melissa "Lisa" McCollum Temple, 53, of 108 Crescent Street, went home to be with the Lord on Easter Sunday April 24, 2011 at her home.

Mrs. Temple was born in Easley, SC, a daughter of the late Bobby Lee McCollum and Ethel Waldrop Rogers. She served for 25 years at First Federal and BB&T Banks, and the Pickens County School District. She retired in 2009 from the S.C. Department of Motor Vehicles. Lisa was an active member of Rock Springs Baptist Church, the Rock Springs Adult Choir and the Couple of Faith Bible Fellowship Class. She asked Jesus into her heart as a young girl.

Surviving are her husband, Walter "Ikey" M. Temple, Jr.; a son, Chad Houston Lovvorn, of Pickens; a daughter, Krissy Goodman McMahan (Jamey), of Easley; a brother, Daniel McCollum, of Easley; three sisters, Leigh Redding, of Dacusville, Lynn Rogers, of Seneca and Shana Gray, of Liberty; 4 grandchildren, Ellagrace McMahan, Deacon McMahan, Roman McMahan and Savannah McMahan; and her step-father, L.A. "Buddy" Rogers, of Easley.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday at Rock Springs Baptist Church with the Reverend Dr. David Gallamore officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road.

Members of the Rock Springs Adult Choir and the Couples of Faith Bible Fellowship Class are invited to serve as Escort of Honor for the funeral service.

Family members are at their respective homes.

Memorials may be made to Rock Springs Baptist Church - Youth or Children's Building Furnishings Fund, 201 Rock Springs Road, Easley, SC 29642.
