Miss Mellie Lucille Lollis, 61, of Dobbins Bridge Rd, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2012 at AnMed Health Care.
Born June 11, 1951 in Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late George and Delilah "Woody" Watson Lollis. Miss Lollis was the only girl of twelve children. She was hearing and speech impaired, worked for thirty years at Anderson Better Skills and was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Piedmont.
Miss Lollis is survived by her brothers, Charles Lollis (Claudia), Robert L. Lollis (Ruth), Bob E. Lollis (Brenda) and Wayne Lollis (Marjorie); sister-in-law, Edna Lollis; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by seven brothers.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Piedmont. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The body is at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown and will be taken to the home of Wayne and Marjorie Lollis, 133 North Freeman Rd, Liberty, SC, at 3:00 PM Tuesday, where friends will be received.
