Mr. Mellie Sisk, Jr. 84, of 111 Thompson Trail, Easley, loving husband of Mildred Wallen Sisk, went to his eternal home in heaven on August 26, 2015 at McCall Hospice House in Simpsonville.

Mr. Sisk was born in Danville, Virginia on October 8, 1930 to the late Mellie Sisk, Sr. and Lola Clardy Sisk. He lived a life of service to all his family and to those in need. He retired from the U.S. Post office as a supervisor. He was a man that followed Christ and lived a life that reflected the love of Christ. He was a member of Washington Avenue Baptist Church where he served as a deacon, Sunday School Teacher, R.A. Director and in the Bus ministry.

In addition to his wife of 66 years, Mr. Sisk is survived by two daughters; Patricia Ann Welsh (John), of Easley, and Dorothy Jean Smith (Keith), of Greenville; a brother; Billy Sisk (Barbara), of Easley; and a sister; Linda S. Welsh (Mike), of Williamston. He is also survived by six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren whom he adored.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Sisk was preceded in death by a daughter; Deborah Jane Heatherly, and a sister; Joan Evans.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 PM on Saturday, August 29, 2015 in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road. Interment will follow at Greenville Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Saturday prior to the service from 12:30 PM until 2:15 PM at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC 29642.

The family is at the residence.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks to please help feed the children of Pickens County by sending memorial donations to the United Christian Ministries, 303 Dacusville Highway, Easley, SC 29640.
