Merilyn Delores Gillespie Reeves, 79, wife of the late Thomas Flynn Reeves, passed away November 26, 2012, at Country Side Park Assisted Living.

Born in Easley, to the late Claude and Janie Dodgens Gillespie, Mrs. Reeves was a homemaker who enjoyed singing, and loved spending time with her family. She was member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.

She is survived by a son, Barry Reeves (Deborah) of Liberty; a daughter, Belinda Robson (Bill) of Easley; a brother, Fred Gillespie; a sister Earleen Harrison; six grandchildren, Keri Benjamin (Jeremy) of Dacusville, Kyle Reeves (Alexandria), Keith Reeves, Desmond Robson (Kimberly), Melissa Robson, and Emily Gordon, all of Easley; and four great-grandchildren, Cooper and Tanner Benjamin, Rylee Gordon, and Leighton Robson.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Alvin Gillespie; and two sisters, Connie Gustafson, and Bonnie Shephard.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 28, in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery, in Easley.

Visitation will be 9:30 A.M. to 10:45 A.M. prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Emeritus at Countryside, 125 Zion School Rd., Easley, SC 29642, or to Southern Care Hospice, 6000 Pelham Rd., Greenville, SC 29615.

The family is at their respective homes.
