Michael Houston Bridges, 66, of Rochford Dr., husband of Linda Taylor Bridges, passed away Monday, November 17, 2014 at his home,
Born April 24, 1948 in Easley, he was a son of the late John and Thelma Nordine Bridges. Mr. Bridges was a US Army veteran and graduated from Greenville Technical College. He was a Vice President with GrandSouth Bank in Anderson and was in banking over forty-three years. Mr. Bridges was an avid Clemson Tiger fan who enjoyed golf, his family, friends and the new love of his life, Zaydee-Lane.
In addition to his wife of thirty-nine years, he is survived by his daughter, Taylor Milynn Bridges (Norbert Crabtree); sisters, Marie Hursey (Willard), Sandra Lavender and Patty Alldredge (Phil); brother, Eddie Bridges (Martha); and granddaughter, Zaydee-Lane Bridges Crabtree.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Bruce Bridges.
Memorial services will be conducted at 6:30 PM Saturday, November 22, 2014 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 6:15 PM Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home.
