Michael "Pete" Brown- Pendleton
Michael Joe Brown, 51, husband of Kathy Dodson Brown, died Saturday, August 11, 2007 at his residence. A native of Anderson, he was a son of Annie Ruth Gillespie Brown and the late James Calvin Brown. He was a member of Gethesmene Baptist Temple.
Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are step-sons, Steve and Samuel Yon; step-daughter, Lisa Holbrooks; brother, Dean Gillespie, Belton; step-brother, Donnie M. Brown and 6 step grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sister, Peggy Littleton.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 3pm at Fants Grove Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Wednesday, prior to the service from 2-3pm in the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Michael Brown Memorial Fund C/O Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, 108 Cross Creek Rd., Central, SC 29630.
