Michael Carroll Burton, 21, of 148 Griffwood Lynn Drive, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2013 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born in Easley, a son of Donna Gravely Burton of Easley and the late Jimmy Carroll Burton, Jr., Michael was a 2009 graduate of Pickens High School and employed as a painter with Mitchell Contractors of Greenville. He was a member of Peters Creek Baptist Church.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are a brother, Jamie Burton and fiance�, Shelli, of Easley; a sister, Maria Burton of Easley; and his grandparents, Jimmy and Shirley J. Burton, Sr., of Easley, and Carmen Burton of Greenville.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
The family is at the home of his grandparents Jimmy and Shirley Burton, Sr., 123 Griffwood Lynn Drive, Easley, SC 29640.
