Mr. Michael Eugene Corn, 72, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday, December 19, 2022. He was the loving husband of Dianne Holcombe Corn. They shared 48 years of marriage.

Born in Pickens, SC on January 25, 1950, he was the son of the late W.E. "Runt" Corn and the late Sarah Nalley Corn. He retired at the age of 55 after many years of working as a CNC Machinist. He enjoyed being with his family, traveling, and woodworking. He was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church.

In addition to his precious wife, he is survived by two children, Wendy Deaton (Adam), and Adam Corn (Savannah); a son-in-law, Blair Porter; and a sister, Pat Holcombe. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Hayden and Ian Porter, Emily and Elizabeth Deaton, and Elin and Harper Corn; a niece, Susan Lewis (Jack); a nephew, Brad Holcombe (Yvonne); and numerous other nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by both parents, his eldest daughter, Michelle Corn Porter, and his brother-in-law, John Wayne Holcombe.

Visitation will be from 1:30 PM until 2:45 PM Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at Mountain View Baptist Church, Six Mile. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday at the church, following visitation.
