Michael Melvin Craig, 65, of Piedmont, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at his home.
Born in Ft. Campbell, Kentucky, he was the son of Melvin H. Craig and the late Bobbie Smith Helms. He proudly served our country in the United States Air Force.
Mike had a long career in transportation. He drove truck for US Food Service for over 20 years and for VF Jeanswear for over 10 years. He received several awards for driving over a million miles safely. He was an avid fisherman and guaranteed anyone could catch fish with him leading the way. He also loved his Lord and Savior and was a member of Brandon Baptist Church.
Surviving are his loving wife, Gail Carlton Craig; father, Melvin H. Craig; stepson, Rick McDowell; sister, Sonya Deck and her husband Mike; and two nephews, Tyler Deck and Scott Deck.
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 28, 2019 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road. Entombment will follow at Graceland West Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday afternoon from 12:30pm - 1:45pm at the funeral home.
