Michael Wayne Gibson, 54 , of 208 N. Fishtrap Rd., died Monday, December, 1, 2008, at his residence.
Born in Greer, he was a son of the late Norman Richard and Evelyn McAbee Gibson. He was a a retired machine operator wih J.P. Stevens.
Survivor include: daughters, Kristy Gibson Crawford of Piedmont, Jessica Lucy Smith of Easley and Buffie Evans of Liberty; brothers, Norman Richard Gibson, Jr., of Atlanta and Russell Lee Gibson of Easley; grandchildren, Courtney and Caitlin Crawford, Isaiah Cherry, Brayden and Matthew Gibson; and lifelong friends, Caroll Stewart and Randy Moore.
Mr. Gibson was a wonderful and loving father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was also very much loved and cared for by his ex-wife, Susan Gunter.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday at Robinson Funeral Home Chapel-Downtown.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Michael Wayne Gibson Fund, c/o Robinson Funeral Home, PO Box 387, Easley, SC 29641-0387.
