Michael "Mike" Albert Lairson, 58, of 212 Huntington Drive, Liberty, husband of Teresa Nicholson Lairson, died Sunday, March 1, 2009, at his home following an illness.
Born in Nashville, Tennessee, he was a son of the late Harold and Margaret Thomas Lairson. Mr. Lairson, was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Survivors include his wife of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Matthew E. Lairson (Stacey) of Liberty; a daughter and son-in-law, Mandy Ledford (Jarrod) of Pickens; a brother, Thomas D. Lairson of Winter Park, Florida; and three grandchildren who were the joy of his life, Andrew and Alex Lairson and Abigail Ledford.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, from 6-8 PM at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. The family asks everyone to dress casual.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Make a Wish Foundation, PO Box 29119, Phoenix, AZ, 85038-9119 or the Victory Junction Gang Camp, 4500 Adam's Way, Randleman, NC, 27317.
