Mildred Mick Gillespie

April 15, 1928 — October 9, 2019

Mildred Kelly "Mick" Gillespie, 91, widow of Carl Gillespie passed away, Wednesday Morning, October 9, 2019 at AnMed Health in Anderson, SC.

She was born in Central, a daughter of the late George W. and Willie Lee Cisson Kelly. She was retired employee of the Liberty Rug Mill and was a member of Welcome Baptist Church.

Surviving is a nephew raised in the home, Doug Kelly and wife, Beverly Bray Kelly of Greenville; special great niece, Michelle Gooch and her children, Jordan Wooten and Josh Kelly; and nieces and nephews, Larry Kelly, Mike Kelly, Gail Kennemore, Keith Kelly, and Kim Yasin.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mick was predeceased by brothers, Miles Kelly, Cliff Kelly, Shirley Kelly, Leland Kelly and Waymon Kelly.

A graveside service will be held at 3 PM, Monday, October 14, 2019 at Welcome Baptist Church in Central.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 2:45 PM, Monday prior to the service at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home in Central.
