Mildred Mae Entrekin Greene, 87, died Saturday, September 27, 2008 at Seneca Health and Rehabilitation.
Born in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late Jason M. and Nancy Jones Entrekin. She was a homemaker and a member of Lawrence Chapel United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a son, Alfred K. Greene and wife Karen of Seneca, SC; two daughters, Linda Hunter and husband George of Bluffton, SC, Barbara Holley and husband Cliff of Belton, SC; two sisters, Juanita Duncan of Charleston, SC, Ida Lou Nations of Wintson-Salem, NC; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Alfred Roscoe Greene; a brother, Herbert F. Entrekin; and two sisters, Edith E. Newton and Era E. Raines.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Tuesday at Lawrence Chapel United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be prior to the service at the church on Tuesday from 1 PM until 2 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lawrence Chapel United Methodist Church; PO Box 1912; Clemson, SC 29633.
The family is at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, 4917 Bayshore Drive; Seneca, SC 29672.
