Mildred S. Harris

Mildred Syphronia Guthrie Harris, 84, of Liberty, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Friday, November 12, 2021.
Born in Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late Ruth Fowler Garmon.
Mrs. Harris was retired from WestPoint Stevens in Clemson. She was a dedicated member of Six Mile Church of God of Prophecy and was one of the original members of Helping Hands Children's Home in Central, an organization near and dear to her heart. She was a pastor's wife who loved sharing the word of God to everyone she met.
Surviving are her husband of 65 years, Reverend William Edward Harris; her children, Sherry L. Harris of Liberty, Cynthia Harris-Beckwith (Jim) of Arizona, Dwight S. Harris of Cateechee, Pamela V. Morris and Naomi A. Harris both of Easley, Timothy Harris of Norris and Court Young of Liberty; grandchildren, Rose (Kris), Matthew (Susie), Kathleen (Matt), Paul (Sara), Amber, Autumn, Cameo, Cory and T.J.; great grandchildren, Mackenly, Jade, Tylor, Sofia, Lane, Mason, Cheyenne, Sebastian, Junior, Josalynn, Jazmine, Connor, J.W. and Bella; great-great grandchildren, Addison and Tytus; a special cousin, Barbara Johnson; and her faithful companion, Fido.
Mrs. Harris was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her great grandchildren, Kane, Malachi and Jessica; and her brother, William "Marvin" Gibbs.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, November 15, 2021, at Six Mile Church of God of Prophecy with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
