Mildred Iona Huffman Howard

Mrs. Mildred Iona Huffman Howard, age 91, of Greenville, loving wife of the late Louis Edward Howard, passed away Sunday, November 18, 2018 at Poinsett Rehab and Healthcare in Greenville.

Mildred was born in Greenville on July 19, 1927 to the late James Lafayette and Ollie Elizabeth Huffman. She was a homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of Carolina Heights Church of God of Prophecy.

Mildred "Mick" is survived by daughters, Diane Bayne of Greenville and Donna Phillips (Steve) of Cleveland, TN; sons, Joe Howard (Cindy) of Pickens and Eddie Howard (Deborah) of Powdersville; five grandchildren, Kristen (Daniel), Scott, Sheena (Andy), Tabitha (Josiah), and Travis (Taylor); eight great-grandchildren, Lillian, Eleanor, Adeline, Ezra, Madalee, Adelyn, Riley, and Grayson; and brothers, Bill Huffman (Betty) of Greenville and Joe Huffman (Sarah) of Nashville, TN.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth McConnell; and brothers, Sam Huffman, James Huffman, and Harold Huffman.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road.
