Miles Bryson "Smoky" Chrisley, 85, died on March 12, 2018.
Smoky was born in Calhoun Falls, SC son of the late Leonard and Allie Mae Childers Chrisley.
He was a Master Sergeant in the US Air Force with over 20 years of service to his country. He coached youth programs in football, baseball, and basketball for more than 40 years in Clemson and Seneca, SC; Blytheville, AR; Bossier City, LA; and Okinawa, Japan.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Patsy Louise Whittle Chrisley. They had three children, Roger Dale Chrisley (Judy) of Central, SC, Danus Bryson Chrisley (Pat, deceased) of Darlington, SC, and Janie Davis (Gary) of Greenville, SC. He later married Diane Sisk and adopted a son, Michael Bryson Chrisley of Atlanta, GA.
Smoky had six grandchildren, Stacy Chrisley of Mt. Holly, NC; Dana Chrisley of Darlington, SC; Rebecca Davis of Greer, SC; Nick Chrisley (deceased) of Darlington, SC; Barbara Reid of Central, SC; and Jerry Joe Massey (deceased). He had three great-grandchildren, Joshua Owens, Breanna Bingham, and Wesley Bingham all of Mt. Holly, NC.
He had seven brothers and sisters, Cecil Chrisley, Edward Chrisley, Gene Chrisley, Katherine McAlister, Frances Iorio, and Mary Stewart who are all deceased. He has one living sister, Jane Wilder of Greenville, SC.
There will be a presentation of full military honors to commemorate Smoky's Air Force service at 3 PM, Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with an opportunity to share stories during a Celebration of Smoky's life immediately following in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central, SC.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in honor of Nick Chrisley, on behalf of Smoky Chrisley, be sent to Brainy Camps, 273 Mayo Drive, Dyke, VA 22936.
