Mr. Miller "Speedy" Hines, Jr., 81, passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Piedmont Henry Hospital, Stockbridge, GA.
Born in Spartanburg County, a son of the late Miller Hines, Sr. and Nannie Cooley Hines, Mr. Hines retired from Southeastern Stages of Atlanta and was a U. S. Air Force veteran.
Surviving are his wife Wilma Molliee Hines; a son, Tyrone Hines of Decatur, GA; and two sisters, Dr. Virginia Brannon of Boiling Springs, SC and Cornelia Prince of NC.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill and Holland Hines; and three sisters, Altha Vasey, Eva Jay Lewis and Lillian Bailey.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, February 28, 2015 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in the Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from noon until 1:45 PM at the funeral home, prior to the service.
