Milton H. Hansen

Milton Harold Hansen, 84, died Sunday, March 21, 2010 at his home.
Born in Penn Yan, New York, Mr. Hansen was a son of the late Harold Mikkel and Grace Edith Kennedy Hansen. He received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Clarkson University in Potsdam, N.Y. He was a self-employed consultant as a civil and structural engineer, having been professionally licensed in many states. Mr. Hansen was a member of Easley Presbyterian Church and a former member of the Lions Club. A U.S. Army Veteran of World War II, Mr. Hansen served in the Pacific Theatre with Army Airways Communications Systems.
Surviving are his wife, Sally Norton Hansen of the home; a son, Mikkel A. Hansen and his wife, Susan, of The Woodlands, Texas; one sister, Edith H. Day and her husband, Lloyd, of Madison, Florida; two granddaughters, Kristin L. Hansen of St. Louis, Missouri and Stephanie D. Hansen of Austin, Texas; and a nephew, Lloyd Richard Day, Jr. of Tallahassee, Florida.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Hansen was predeceased by a son, Eric M. Hansen; and a brother, Andrew J. Hansen.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown with the Rev. Dr. Bill Seel and the Reverend Christie Gravely officiating. Burial will follow in the Veteran's Garden of Honor at Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM Wednesday, prior to the service.
