Milton L. Kelley
Central, SC
After several years of declining health, Milton Leo Kelley of Central, SC went home to be with the Lord July 27th at home with his loving family by his side.
He was born in Pickens County, a son of the late Frank and Ila Woodson Kelley. He was a former employee with Pratt-Read Company in Central and retired from the Pickens County School District.
Milton was a lifelong, dedicated member of Welcome Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for many years. He was respected by all who were blessed to know him because of his Godly character and humble spirit.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Bobbie Brooks Kelley and their five children; Beth (Tony) McGee of Central, Teresa Morgan of Summerville, Greg (Teresa) Kelley of Rowlett, TX,
Anthony (Kim) Kelley of Clemson, Noel (Susan) Kelley of Central; 10 grandchildren, Tricia (Chris) Gill, Jonathan (Carrie) Rampey, Cindy (Mark)Peace, Matt (Ana) Morgan, Ashley (Brent) Guffee, Michael (Dani) Kelley, Quentin Kelley, Cooper Kelley, Ryan Kelley and Ethan Kelley; 7 great grandchildren, Keaton Gill, Tyler Peace, Caroline Morgan, Jackson Morgan, Carter Morgan, Mattison Guffee and Lucas Guffee; two brothers, Grady Kelley of Seneca and Dalton Kelley of Hendersonville, NC.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Kelley was predeceased in death by a son, Keith Kelley; brothers; Nathan Kelley, Tony Kelley, Andrew Kelley, Crayton Kelley, Glen Kelley, and Marshall Kelley; and his sister, Grace Kay.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 1:50 PM, Monday at Welcome Baptist Church, Central, SC.
Funeral services will be 2 PM, Monday at his church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
