Miriam Beasley Griffin,96, widow of Carl L. Griffin, passed away on Nov. 21st at Cottingham Hospce House in Seneca.
Born in Claxton, Georgia, Miriam was a daughter of the late William M. and Leila DeLoach Beasley. She was a former resident of Savannah, Ga. Miriam was a long time hairdresser in Central and was a member of Mt. Zion Methodist Church.
Surviving are her step-son, Robert Griffin (Judy) of Liberty. Family was most precious to her as she had numerous nieces and nephews who loved her dearly as she did them and stayed informed about each one. Special friends of many years Edith Wisham and her family adopted her as their own and she enjoyed many occasions with them and Bonnie Littrell. A special thanks to the nurses and doctors at Cottingham House.
Pallbearers will be Raleigh Beasley, Chad Sanders, Rod Eidson, Billy Mullinex, Daryl Byrd and Bradley Whitaker.
Funeral services will be Sunday November 25th 2018 at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church with burial to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 1 o'clock to 2 o'clock prior to the service.
