Mitzi S. Taylor

December 8, 1952 — November 14, 2020

Mitzi S. Taylor, 67, loving wife of Gerald S. Taylor, passed away Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Easley Place.

Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late William Robert and Elizabeth Hill Gravely. Mitzi retired from Anderson School District 1 after 27 years of service. She was a dedicated member of Victory Baptist Church.

Surviving, in addition to her husband of 50 years, are her two sons, Chad Taylor and his wife Tracie; and Benji Taylor and his girlfriend, Dawn Steele; her two brother, Robin Lamar Gravely and Randy Gravely and his wife Susan; four grandchildren, Dalton Luke Taylor, Cody Sloan Taylor, Cassidy Lane Taylor and Robert Walker Lawless; and 4 great grandchildren, Elijah & Isaiah Jesimine, Brayleigh Skye Taylor, and Brady Cash Lawless.

In addition to her parents, Mitzi was predeceased by her sister, Beverly Jan Bowen and her brother, William Rick Gravely.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at 1:00pm in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road. Burial will follow in Graceland East Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:30pm - 8:30pm at the funeral home.
